Snowball, the Warrior Chief
The fierce and restless leader of the Blood Moon Clowder’s defense. With olive-green eyes and a muscular build, Snowball is known for his tactical acumen and readiness for combat. He often acts on instinct, driven by a deep sense of responsibility to protect the clowder. Despite his playful nature, which sometimes peeks through, Snowball is always on guard, particularly under the looming threat of the Blood Moon. Scars across his body are a testament to his battle-hardened experience. As the tactical counterpart to Greg, the Overlord, Snowball’s role focuses on the external challenges the clowder faces from rival species and other threats.
This is the first of the Blood Moon Paintings.

Greg, the Overlord
The stoic and calculating leader of the Blood Moon Clowder. With fierce golden eyes and a wide, scarred face, Greg embodies quiet authority and wisdom. He oversees every aspect of the clowder’s well-being, from food acquisition to territory defense. Greg is a figure of stillness and observation, often watching from atop the tallest mausoleum in the City of the Dead, where he keeps a watchful eye on his clowder. His imposing demeanor derives from the heavy burden of responsibility and duty he is saddled with. He sacrifices personal comforts to protect his kin. His shortened tail and battle-worn scars serve as reminders of the many battles he’s fought to keep the clowder safe.

Dracine, the Scout
A cunning and elusive figure in the Blood Moon Clowder story. As a bat, Dracine has a unique vantage point, roosting under the eaves of Electra’s house, where she observes both the clowder and the surrounding city. She serves as a crucial scout, gathering intelligence from the skies, able to see what the cats on the ground cannot. While typically a loner, Dracine forms a tenuous alliance with the clowder, particularly during the Blood Moon, when her ability to fly and observe is critical. Her relationship with the clowder is pragmatic, as bats are usually seen as prey by the cats. Still, Dracine’s knowledge and scouting abilities make her an invaluable asset—if she chooses to help. Dracine’s mysterious nature and independence add tension, as she operates on her own agenda, often with secrets only she knows.

Patch and Blanca
Patch and Blanca are two key members of the Blood Moon Clowder. Patch is exceptionally wary, often traveling with Blanca. He is known for his loyalty to the Blanca and his ability to blend into his surroundings, making him an elusive but valued member of the clowder.
Blanca, with her striking white fur and piercing blue eyes, is a graceful and vigilant cat. She is wary and untrusting, as are most feral cats. Together, Patch and Blanca are a strong duo, often venturing out to hunt or explore as a team. However, their recent disappearance sets the stage for the unfolding mystery in the Blood Moon Clowder tale.

Désirée and the Neighborhood
This captivating painting portrays Désirée, dressed in a flowing green skirt, with her curly red hair cascading around her shoulders, gently releasing a black cat from a crate beneath the glowing blood moon. The scene is rich with hidden details—if you look closely, you’ll spot Dracine, a bat, hanging from the eaves, while a small white rat peeks from beneath the hedges. The painting masterfully combines mystery and atmosphere, inviting viewers to uncover the secrets within.

Electra
Electra, a white cat with piercing green eyes, sits poised on a windowsill, her paw mischievously pushing a golden cat statue toward the edge. Behind her, the full, dark red Blood Moon casts an eerie glow over the scene, while red-and-gold striped curtains frame the moment of playful defiance. This captivating portrait captures the mystery and charm of Electra, blending rich colors and dramatic lighting to create a striking, one-of-a-kind artwork.
