I met Dave last year. He is my cousin from Ohio. We’d connected online via other cousins in the Bullington clan. He was, at the time, married to a woman who was best friends with another Bullington cousin of mine, who lives in California. Somehow he met his ex-wife, and well, found out he was related to her BFF. Or maybe he met his ex thru our mutual cousin?

Anyhow, I didn’t know him at all, but we bumped into each other on Facebook and realized we lived less than 2 hours apart, so we invited him and his ex over, and had a wonderful afternoon. They’re both delightful humans, it it was really fun connecting while already having lines to connect in the family from different directions.

Those two knuckleheads eagerly took up my call for people making funny faces to be in my 100 Faces Portrait Project. It ended up being a good thing I did their portraits separately, because, you know… but they’re both awesome people, and I’m glad I know them in person now.
