This portrait features 14 of the cats that have shared a home with the artist and others in her family for at least 40 years. This portrait was painted in oil on paper canvas. The inspiration for the painting came when the cat on the bottom left, Kevin, passed away at the age of 16 (not nearly old enough.) The artist decided to paint the family of cats as part of her healing process. It turned out to be really fun because these cats are or were all such special characters.
Each painting or print is accompanied by a small gift from the artist to thank you for your support.
