An Art Experiment

Getting the Kellie Snider Gallery set up and running was pretty intense and overwhelming. It was satisfying, too, but my brain has been fried for the past couple of days. I’ve been going to bed early every night. And I needed it!

I have 3 painting commissions lined up, which is very exciting. I have been doing clay sculpting in the evening and that’s fun for me, but I’m very ready to spend my afternoons painting again.

But tonight I did sort of a cross between painting and clay sculpting. I ordered this pretty little frame, but when I got it I saw that the glass had been glued onto the frame. Somehow this gave me the idea of doing a painting in clay on top of the glass. I’m not sure how it will end up in the big picture, or even if it will work at all, but I think it could potentially be cool. Stay tuned!

Keep in mind that you’re amazing.
